Amazon at SDCC 2019: Carnival Row, The Boys, The Expanse, and much more!
Amazon is attending SDCC 2019 in force. Highly anticipated shows such as The Expanse, The Boys, and Carnival Row will have panels throughout the weekend.
Amazon wants you to know all about its upcoming TV shows. There’s plenty to look forward to throughout the year, with many of them attending SDCC 2019 (and some for the first time). Look out for the likes of The Expanse, The Boys, Carnival Row and much more.
Right now, the details are sparse. TVLine shared the full panel list for the weekend with locations and timings. However, the information on who will be attending the panels isn’t filled in on all shows just yet. That doesn’t mean we can’t start planning ahead, right?

Things kick off for Amazon on Thursday, July 18 at 1:45 p.m. local time. Upcoming series Undone will get a panel in the Indigo Ballroom. So far, there is no information about who will be there. The upcoming adult animation comedy doesn’t have a release date but is slated for a late 2019 release.
On Friday, July 19, there are two panels to look out for. Get there early for one and stay there for both, as they run back-to-back in Ballroom 20. The first is at 3:30 p.m. and it’s all about the highly anticipated series, The Boys. Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Elisabeth Shue, Chace Crawford, and many more stars will attend. Eric Kripke and Seth Rogan will also be there, with Aisha Tyler from Criminal Minds moderating.
At 4:45 p.m., Carnival Row will get its panel, with Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, Tamzin Merchant, and David Gyasi from the cast. Marc Guggenheim and Travis Beacham will also be there. The moderator hasn’t been announced yet.
One of the most popular panels at SDCC 2019 for Amazon is likely to be The Expanse. That panel takes place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 in Indigo Ballroom. Ty Franck and Naren Shankar will be there with cast members Wes Chatham, Frankie Adams, Steven Strait, Cas Anvar, Dominique Tipper, and Shohreh Aghdashloo.
You’ll want to get to this panel early to make sure you get a good seat. While the show doesn’t currently have a release date just yet, it likely will get one or a trailer at the panel (if one doesn’t come just before that). You’ll also likely want to look out for a sneak peek of the highly anticipated The Expanse Season 4.
After The Expanse, you’ll want to move to Room 6A at 4:15 p.m. The Man in the High Castle will get a panel with Rufus Sewell, Joel de la Fuente, Chelah Horsdal, Jason O’Mara, and Frances Turner from the cast, and Isa Dick Hackett, David Scarpa, and Daniel Percival from the EP team. This will be the last appearance for High Castle and there will hopefully be a release date for the final season announced during the event — and a trailer or sneak peek!
