The Man in the High Castle ending after four seasons
Amazon Prime’s highly popular alternate history series is coming to an end. Season 4 will be the last for The Man in the High Castle.
It’s the end of an era. The Man in the High Castle Season 4 is set to be the end of the series. Deadline made the announcement while sharing Amazon Prime Video’s latest trailer.
While it’s certainly sad news, there’s some good to come from it. This has been written as the final season, which means storylines are coming to a conclusion. Showrunner Isa Dick Hackett says that she believes fans will be satisfied with the way it ends.

The announcement came with the release of a trailer for the fourth season. Because of when the fourth season renewal came, filming was able to start off the back of the third, which means some even better news for fans. The Man in the High Castle Season 4 is slated for a fall 2019 release.
Waiting around for the third season was definitely excruciating. Two years to wait is way too long! A year is hard enough and it looks like that may be what we get.
This won’t be the last from Hackett on the service. She recently inked a first-look deal with Amazon Studios offer the back of the success of this alternate history series and the 2017 anthology Electric Dreams. Her father, Philip K. Dick, wrote plenty of books and there’s plenty of material to work from.
The Man in the High Castle Season 3 last left us with Juliana escaping her prison cell by traveling to another world. John Smith learned that his wife had left him with their daughters and that traveling to other worlds was only possible to places a doppelganger had been killed. The alternate worlds have been opened considerably and it looks like a version of Smith and Juliana will meet at some point during the season.
Last season saw the resistance rising. Now that resistance is ready to fight.
