If you’re overwhelmed by everything arriving on all streaming services, you’ll want to know what’s highly anticipated. Upload is on the list for May 2020.

There are many TV shows adding to all the various streaming services available right now. It gets overwhelming to choose from them. Why not look at the world’s most highly anticipated TV shows? Amazon’s Upload is on that list.

Upload is the only Prime TV series to make it to TV Time’s Anticipation Report. And it marks two months in a row where new Amazon Originals have made the list. Tales from the Loop made it to April’s list, and it was certainly worth the watch.

The Anticipation Report is made up from global users on the app. Fans get to say which shows they’re most eager to watch as soon as they drop on various networks or streaming services. Upload is in fifth place of the new TV shows, behind the likes of DC’s Stargirl and Netflix’s Hollywood.

If you’ve missed all the promotion for the new series (where have you been?), it hails from the mind that brought us The Office and Parks and Recreation. Greg Daniels has brought his digital-themed vision to life, and yes, it is most definitely worth the wait. By the way, Daniels’s new Netflix series Space Force is also on the list of highly-anticipated shows.

Robbie Amell stars as Nathan, a coder who is gravely injured in a car accident. After choosing to be digitally uploaded to the afterlife, he has to figure out how to live his new existence. And this is it for eternity. As some people within the afterlife prove, that’s not going to be easy.

But Nathan doesn’t just have to figure out how to exist and enjoy his new afterlife. He also needs to figure out who wanted him dead, because that accident was definitely not an accident.

There isn’t long to wait. All eight episodes will be available from May 1. You’ve got all weekend; make it the one to binge-watch Upload.
