Not sure what to check out first in April 2020? Amazon’s Tales from the Loop is among the list of most anticipated new shows on their way.

Every month, TV Time finds out what viewers are looking forward to watching. Most of the time, you’ll see Netflix dominating the charts. After all, they do tend to be some of the biggest shows. That’s not the case in April 2020, with Tales from the Loop among the list of most anticipated new TV shows coming next month.

Tales from the Loop has had one trailer and minimal promotion, so it may be a surprise to some that it’s on the list of most anticipated shows. However, it’s based on a narrative artbook, which is why it may be immediately gaining attention. It also has an outstanding cast, including Game of Thrones‘s Jonathan Pryce.

More from Amazon Originals

There hasn’t been too much given away about the series up to this point. “The Loop” is a machine built into the middle of the town. Everyone in the town is connected to this machine in some way, and the machine helps to explore the mysteries of the universe. People start to be able to do things that were only in sci-fi movies and books. What does this mean for the town’s future?

The new Amazon Original sits fourth out of five new TV shows. And this isn’t just from viewers in the U.S. TV Time tracks the date on its app globally, so those internationally are counted to help determine the anticipation of new and returning shows.

Two shows on the list are also available through Amazon Channels. Penny Dreadful: City of Angels on SHOWTIME and Run on HBO are also highly anticipated.
