Unfortunately, Amazon Prime Video isn’t adding anything new this weekend, but a new season of Bosch did just drop, and you should definitely watch!
Sadly, Amazon Prime is not updating its catalog on the weekend of April 18 and 19. However, the streaming service did just launch a brand new season of its hit show, Bosch. If you haven’t seen Bosch before, then now is a great time to binge the show from the beginning!
Bosch is a slick work of detective fiction and a crime procedural, but it does have more serialized elements than something you’d find on broadcast television. The first season revolves around LAPD Detective Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch attempting to solve the murder of a 13-year-old boy.
If you’re already all caught up with Bosch, then get ready for an intense sixth season with Bosch finding himself at the epicenter of a messy investigation and a potentially catastrophic threat to Los Angeles looming on the horizon.

For those of you not interested in a crime drama right now, I recommend checking out Tales from the Loop. It’s an excellent science-fiction series that deals with the emotional core of its characters and stories, with less focus on the technologies themselves. It complements Black Mirror, but it’s much different tonally.
Now would also be an excellent time to check into Amazon’s hit original series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which is guaranteed to make you smile. Plus, it’s pretty short and easy to binge-watch with only three seasons so far. You can finally figure out what all the hype is about since the show is an awards darling!
