Everything streaming on Prime Video this week: Candy Cane Lane and more

Prime Video is certainly getting us ready for the holiday season with Candy Cane Lane, but there’s much more to watch this week.

It’s not all about Christmas on Prime Video in December, but this is the start of the holiday movies. Actually, the end of November tends to be the start of them, and we did have a couple of releases across Prime Video and Freevee over the last few weeks.

Now we’re going into the run of holiday movies, and things are starting this week with the new Amazon Original Movie, Candy Cane Lane. It stars Eddie Murphy as a man who makes a deal with an elf in an attempt to win his neighborhood Christmas home decorating contest. He ends up unleashing the 12 Days of Christmas!

The Proposal, The Conjuring, and more

There is something for everyone this week, though. Friday, Dec. 1 sees the big release of content, and The Proposal is one of them. This rom-com stars Sandra Bullock as a Canadian who finds out her visa is expiring. She either needs to return home or she needs to find a way to stay in the country. What better way than to marry an American for the Green Card?

If you’re more in the mood for a horror, the 2021 movie The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is heading to Prime Video. This third movie in the franchise follows the Warrens as they figure out whether a man really is possessed by the devil or if he’s killing people on his own accord.

There are also some shows dropping on the streamer this week. You can watch all 11 seasons of 7th Heaven starting on Friday. That’s going to keep you company throughout the weekend.
