Amazon is adding more than 30 titles to Prime Video today

It’s the first of the month, which means a big drop of content on Prime Video. It’s not as big as normal, but there are 36 movies and shows to watch.

The first of the month sees the big drop of the whole month on most streaming platforms. That’s certainly the case with Prime Video, although the list of releases isn’t as long as normal. Usually, we see numbers closer to 100. This month we only see 36 titles.

There are some big releases. Whether you want a Christmas movie or something with action or comedy, the Amazon streamer has you covered.

Candy Cane Lane, The Proposal, and more

The big release is the new Amazon Original Movie. Eddie Murphy stars as Chris in Candy Cane Lane. All he wants is to win the neighborhood Christmas home decorating competition. It’s a huge event, and he is determined to win at all costs. When he makes a deal with a mischievous elf, he has to find a way to put the 12 Days of Christmas back in their boxes.

What about a rom-com starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds? That’s what you get with The Proposal. The movie follows a woman who finds out that her visa has expired. She has to return to Canada unless she can find a way to stay in the country. What about marrying her secretary? And what happens when the two start to fall for each other?

If you prefer a bit of horror, the third The Conjuring movie is coming to Prime Video today. It’s all about The Devil Made Me Do It, which sees the Warrens get to the bottom of a case that is based on a true story. Can they prove it was the devil’s work?
