Our Christmas wishes are coming true extremely early. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 has been officially confirmed by Amazon.
Less than a week after the Season 3 release, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has officially been renewed for a fourth season by Amazon. Our Christmas wish has come true much earlier than anticipated.
The renewal isn’t all that surprising. We know that this is one of Amazon’s best shows. Not only does it do well with viewers, but it’s one of the best critically. Just after the release of the third season, the show was nominated for four Golden Globes and a number of Screen Actor’s Guild Awards.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 also received its best results in terms of views on the streamer. According to Amazon, it received the “most watched opening weekend ever,” which just goes to show that waiting a year between seasons does absolutely no harm to a good series.
TVLine reported the news of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel being officially renewed for a fourth season. Amazon went on to say that the show is witty and charming, and there’s certainly an eye for detail.
How much life does the show have? Well, we’d like to say plenty. Amazon only has one show that has gone past four seasons, and that was Bosch. Hopefully, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will be one of those shows. We know that Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino have plans for at least five seasons, but they don’t know how long it will take to wrap up everything. There are still plenty of more stories to tell.
We know that for sure. Just as things were looking up for Midge, her career seems to be crashing and burning. After taking Reggie’s advice to use Shy as the topic for her set at the Apollo, Shy dropped her as the opener for him. He wasn’t happy about the content, especially the Judy Garland shoes. It just goes to show how a career has ups and downs. The life of a comic isn’t easy.
The great news is that we’ll get to see what Midge will do next. How much will being dropped from Shy’s tour set her back?
