She steals from rich kids as a way to get by, hoping to give her daughter the childhood she deserves. Vanessa is a privileged heiress and Instagram influencer who loves to travel the world.
The two women’s paths collide on the Lake Tahoe shores, which is where they start a journey of revenge and duplicity.
Pretty Things hasn’t even been published yet. It’s heading to shelves on Apr. 21, but is one that Brown fans are excited to read. On top of that, Brown is set to executive produce the adaptation, as well as write it.
The news follows Kidman producing and starring in another book adaptation, My Lovely Wife. The high-profile star is also in The Undoing, which was recently pushed to a fall release by HBO due to the coronavirus pandemic.
