More from TV on Amazon

This new comedy special from comedians Kristin Henley and Jen Smedley, from the viral webseries of the same name, bring you a hilarious 2-person stand-up comedy show. Together they share their honest stories about humor, friendship, body image, and more! I recommend checking out the special if you get the chance.

Kristen and Jen have great chemistry and their relaxed onstage presence (complete with glasses of wine) makes it feel like you’re bonding with the women from the comfort of your own home! Their bracing honesty about all things women deal with is refreshing. Your stomach will ache with laughter by the time you’re done.

Mike E. Winfield: StepMan

Unlike Netflix, Amazon is giving opportunities to lesser-known comedians on the rise. Mike E. Winfield is one of the new up-and-comers. Maryland-born and bred, you’ve seen him making the rounds on late night in the past. In his comedy special, StepMan, he talks about what it’s like being married to an older woman.

Sometimes it can be a little awkward having a step-son whose close to your age! Don’t miss out on this heartwarming and hilarious hour of comedy.

Alice Wetterlund: My Mama Is a Human and So Am I

You’ve seen Alice Wetterlund in the HBO series, Silicon Valley, and in the comedy film, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. Now she’s got her own comedy special on Amazon titled My Mama Is a Human and So Am I. She jokes about what it’s like to rear cats and even a secret alien conspiracy pertaining to country music all in her brand new hour-long special.

Alonzo Bodden: Heavy Lightweight

Alonzo Bodden understands that sometimes we need a break from the world at large. The news can be exhausting and even in comedy, it gets tiresome. That’s why Bodden understands the

Hester Shaw (Hilmer) is the one woman who can stop a fierce city on wheels from devouring everything in its path.

The city in question is London. Mortal Engines takes place in a world where civilization has been destroyed. Hester teams up with Tom Natsworthy, and a dangerous outlaw by the name of Anna Fang.
