The Boys at SDCC 2019: Everything we know about the panel so far
The Boys is heading to SDCC 2019. Here’s all we know about the upcoming panel and what we could expect.
While it has a July release date, The Boys is heading to SDCC 2019. This isn’t all that surprising, as it will be a great last promotional push for the show ahead of its debut on Amazon Prime Video.
Before we get into what to expect, it’s worth knowing what’s already confirmed. San Diego Comic-Con has set its panel dates and times, with The Boys getting a good position on Friday. We also have a rough panel guest list, although this could change. I remember Erin Moriarty was expected for the press room at NYCC but couldn’t make it but was at the panel, for example.

Due to the room, we can expect this panel to be busy. Plus, it’s on the Friday, the second busiest day at the whole of the event. If you want to get into The Boys panel, you’ll probably want to get in early. Veronica Mars is the panel before but that’s in the morning so at least you won’t have anyone from a panel before you unless things change.
Now it’s time to get into everything we know about The Boys at SDCC 2019.

- Time: 3:30 p.m.
- Where: Ballroom 20
There’s a good list of cast members on the panel, including Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Chace Crawford, Karen Fukuhara, Elisabeth Shue, and more. EPs Eric Kripke and Seth Rogen are also slated to be at the event.
We even have a panel moderator confirmed. Criminal Minds‘ Aisha Tyler will be the one asking the questions and managing the whole panel.
What can we expect? This is going to be hard to say, as The Boys will debut on Amazon Prime Video on July 26. Another trailer after the promotional push the show has already had wouldn’t make that much sense and we don’t need a release date.
There could be an exclusive preview of the first episode. If it’s 40-50 minutes long, this would work out. The next panel in Ballroom 20 is Amazon’s Carnival Row at 4:45 p.m., so there could be time.
