There’s no doubt that fans of the big blue bug-looking superhero are looking for more episodes. The Tick Season 2 has been more concise and better developed than the first season, and it’s funny! So, when will we get a third season? When will The Tick Season 3 be on Amazon Prime Video?

We’re still waiting on confirmation for the season. Amazon can make a decision anytime now. With Hanna only just being renewed for a second season 10 days after its release, we could expect to hear a decision for The Tick sometime next week.

However, it can also take a couple of months for a decision to be made. Amazon will want to see how many users watch the series and then how many watch it all the way to the end. This determines whether a third season can be justified.

Assuming The Tick Season 3 is confirmed, we could expect the show sometime next year. Most shows take about 14 months to be developed and released since all episodes need to be filmed and ready to drop at the same time. The first season was a little different to most Prime Originals, but the second half was released in February 2018 and Season 2 came April 2019. So, we’re probably looking at about June 2020 for a new season.

Between now and then, we’ve got a lot of good content to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Sneaky Pete Season 3 will be released next month, Bosch Season 5 is coming next week, and The Man in the High Castle Season 4 will be released later this year.
