When another student is changed at Point Blanc, Alex decides to take matters into his own hands. Here’s everything that happened on Alex Rider Season 1, Episode 5.

The episode has three main storylines happening. Two of those revolve around a change of security protocols when the DSO attempts to contact the people Martin was in touch with. When they give the wrong details to identify themselves, the phone is cut off and all security protocols must change.

This is when we learn that Point Blanc and the assassin are all working together. And the assassin knows that Alex “Friend” has something to do with it. He needs the school to get to the bottom of the problem.

The DSO still isn’t any closer to finding out more about Point Blanc. All they know is that something changes the students, and they need to know why Parker Roscoe is quoting Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler but pretending that his father said the quote. Blunt knows that would never happen.

They’ll have to help Alex finds a way to get in touch with them.

Alex and Kyra team up on Alex Rider Season 1, Episode 5

Laura was last seen with a cold and sent to see the doctor. She returns in this episode, but she’s changed. She has become like the other two students.

Now it’s time for the remaining three to get to the bottom of it. And they need to get out of here. To get out, they need the codes for the building, which means getting into Dr. Greif’s office so Kyra can hack into his computer. That requires a code.

With a little detective work, they figure out the code is Hitler’s birth year, 1889. Everything combines together. Greif wants to create a world that Hitler wanted, and he’s turning people into mindless slaves to do it.

When James is taken, it’s down to just Alex and Kyra to find out the truth. That’s when they find out that Greif and others watch them. They study them. And they find out that James has become one of the masked figures that Alex had a dream about—it wasn’t a dream.

At the very end, they overhear Greif and Stellenbosh talking about Kyra. They’ve come as far as they can with her and it’s time to take her out. Does that mean change her or kill her? When they kill one of the doctors, it’s hard to say. All we know is Alex and Kyra need to get out of Point Blanc before it’s too late.
