This is one of the saved YouTube shows that everyone has been waiting for. It’s a cross between End of the F*****g World and Deadpool, and is from the minds behind the latter, by the way!

The series follows the titular character, who is a violent young man who just wants to bring justice to the world. When his father dies of cancer, he heads off on a journey to reclaim a car that is rightfully his. Teenager Del, who he is instantly taken to, joins him on the journey. It’s time for them to realize what it can be like to rely on other people while remaining independent.

It’s an exceptionally violent series. However, it’s also a heartfelt drama with some laugh-out-loud moments. If you enjoy things like Deadpool, then you’re going to love Wayne Season 1.

Will Wayne Season 2 happen?

Amazon Prime Video hasn’t yet renewed the series. However, this is likely just to see what the reception will be like for the series.

There’s no way Amazon would save a show and not pick it up for another season. It just seems a little odd to do that. The downside is that unlike Cobra Kai, which was also canceled by YouTube but saved by Netflix, the second season hadn’t been picked up by YouTube. It hadn’t been filmed. So it’s going to be Amazon’s decision.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for a renewal soon. Even if you have seen the show on YouTube, binge-watch it on Amazon Prime Video to make it clear that you want it renewed.
