Lovecraft Country has certainly taken over our Sunday nights. There’s been no avoiding it purely for the quality and honesty of the storytelling.

There’s no doubt that you want to know if there’s a new episode tonight. Will you be able to tune into HBO for more Lovecraft Country tonight, Sunday, Oct. 25?

There is some bad news. There isn’t a new episode of Lovecraft Country tonight. The previous episode was the season finale, and HBO is starting its new series The Undoing tonight. All episodes of the supernatural horror series are available to stream right now on the HBO app.

Will there be more Lovecraft Country in the future?

When a show like Lovecraft Country comes along, there’s no doubt that we want more of it. It has been one of the best shows of 2020, bringing excellent storytelling and acting in one.

So, we want more. We need more.

HBO hasn’t renewed the show just yet, but that doesn’t mean it never will be renewed. It’s going to depend on a number of factors, including whether showrunner Misha Green thinks there’s enough story for another season. The first season did wrap things up pretty well, but there are a few burning questions that could be answered.

It’s also going to depend on how HBO thinks the show performed. It wasn’t at Game of Thrones level, but very little is up at that now. Instead, the show sat at Watchmen level when it premiered and pulled in a season-high with the finale. That’s a good sign. While Watchmen didn’t get renewed, it wasn’t due to views and more because it was designed to be a one-season series.
