The official release isn’t until midnight on Friday, Sept. 25. However, Utopia is a global original, which means the release is likely to be earlier.

Global originals drop at midnight British time. That’s hours ahead of North America, so we tend to get releases at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT the day before. Look out for this new series then. If it isn’t released right away, it will be on by midnight local time (but I still suspect earlier).
What is Utopia all about?
The series is based on the British show with the same name. It was originally set to head to HBO with a nine-episode order, but it ended up moving to Amazon Prime Video with Sharp Objects showrunner Gillian Flynn running the project.
In the series, a group of people who seem to be completely unconnected find their way to each other. It’s all about an underground graphic novel that happens to prophecize the fate of the world. It tells people about upcoming diseases, wars, and more.
Naturally, the “good guys” want to protect the world from all the bad. Then there are the “bad guys” who see a opportunity to make money. The bad guys are after the good guys just because they’ve happened to see the graphic novel.
Utopia has an all-star cast, including Sasha Lane, Rainn Wilson, and Joh Cusack. There’s no doubt this is a series you’ll want to check out, especially if you love gory comedies. The best part about it is you’ll get all eight episodes at once, so you can binge-watch this weekend.
