Two Amazon shows are the most highly anticipated shows of all in September

There are some excellent new releases throughout September, and not just on Amazon Prime Video. However, when it comes to the Amazon shows, two of them have made it to the list of most anticipated shows of the month.

TV Time puts together a binge report based on user data. It looks at the new and returning TV shows of the month; the ones that viewers are most excited about. Every now and then, a Prime show will make the list. In April, it was all about Tales from the Loop and in May it was all about Upload.

September is all about The Boys and Utopia.

The Boys is the most anticipated returning TV series

On Sept. 4, The Boys Season 2 will drop. Well, the first three episodes will be released. After that, we’re going weekly. It’s not the norm for Amazon, but it really is necessary for the intensity of the episodes.

The diabolical series that shows superheroes in a vastly different light is the most anticipated returning TV show of all. This isn’t just about Amazon shows, but about all shows across all streaming services and networks.

It beats FX’s Fargo, which returns for its fourth season at the end of the month. It also beats Netflix’s Baby and Family Business and FOX’s The Simpsons.

Utopia is one of the most highly anticipated new TV shows

When it comes to new shows, there are a lot of exciting additions throughout the month. It shouldn’t be too surprising that Netflix takes the top spot with the release of Ryan Murphy’s Ratched, starring Sarah Paulson. HBO Max’s Raised By Wolves takes second place.

Utopia is one of the shows on the list. It sits in fifth place, but that’s still great considering the number of new TV shows throughout September 2020.

It shows that Amazon Prime is all about quality and not quantity. The streamer may not have as much as Netflix, but it still manages to make it to the Anticipation Report on a regular basis.
