As a global original, there’s some good news. Chemical Hearts is added to Amazon Prime Video at midnight BST on Friday, Aug. 21. This can often mean we get it earlier in North America because of time zones working in our favor. It’s possible the movie will be added at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Thursday, Aug. 20.

What is Chemical Hearts about?
Based on the book Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland, the movie is about two high school students who fall in love. But are they right for each other?
Henry Page is a 17-year-old hopeless romantic who has never been in love. He has the idea of love from his parents, who have been together since teenagers. He wants a love like that.
And he may just get it without realizing.
Grace Town is a new girl in the school. She and Henry start working on the school newspaper together, which is where they get to know more about each other. At first glance, Grace is not the girl of Henry’s dreams, but that could change. However, Grace has trauma and secrets that threaten their happily ever after.
