Hanna Season 2 is one of the TV shows on the list of best on Amazon Prime Video
July and August have some excellent new TV shows joining Amazon Prime Video. They also have some new seasons of older favorites.
It’s time to update the list of best TV shows on Amazon Prime Video once more. Three of the shows are from the July listings, while the rest are from the upcoming August releases.

There’s no way that we wouldn’t put Hanna Season 2 and Absentia Season 3 on the list. The two Amazon Originals arrived in July and quickly became the most-watched Prime Original shows in the month. While we have a third season of Hanna confirmed, we’re still waiting for Absentia Season 4. That is out of Amazon’s hands, though.
Another big release in July was all five seasons of The Fosters. Netflix subscribers weren’t happy to hear that the show was leaving the streaming service. Amazon made up for it.
When it comes to the August releases, there isn’t as much heading our way. There are some great kids’ shows, but they’re not exactly something for the adults to watch, right? As parents, we tend to put them on to give our kids a little screen time so we can get the housework done.
That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to watch. The Boys after-show is the exciting release, and is sure to be a huge success. We’re also excited to see World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji, especially with all the exciting promotion Amazon has been doing.
