Absentia and Hanna among most-watch releases on Prime Video in July 2020

The 10 most-watched releases on Amazon Prime Video last month

There is some absolutely awesome news for Hanna and Absentia fans. Both TV shows were among the list of most-watched on Amazon Prime Video in July 2020.

Amazon offers the Top 10 most-watched shows and movies. It’s not always made up of new releases from the month itself, but the list tends to include mostly new releases. However, there are some notable standouts on this month’s list.

Absentia Season 3 is most definitely one to mention. The show was only released on July 17, 2020, but it’s managed to make it to fourth place on the list. We keep saying that this show deserves a fourth season, and the placement on the list proves that. Hopefully, it won’t take too long to get a confirmation about the renewal after this success.

Hanna Season 2 also made it onto the list. This Amazon Original made it into first place, which isn’t all too surprising. It was one of the most highly-anticipated shows in July. It was also renewed just 10 days after the release.

Fifth place is something to note. The Twilight Saga made it onto the list. What’s not clear is whether it’s just the first movie or if all four movies were included together in this listing. Either way, the addition isn’t that surprising when there’s a lot of hype around “Midnight Sun,” the book telling Edward’s version of “Twilight.”

My Spy remains at the top of the list. This movie was released at the end of June, so the inclusion on the most-watched list in July isn’t all that surprising. It could be a sign that Absentia Season 3 will remain on the list next month.
