The Boys didn’t disappoint with its Comic-Con@Home panel

We’d hoped for something exciting to happen during The Boys‘s Comic-Con@Home, and that’s exactly what we got. Not only did we get a clip for Season 2, but we got confirmation of The Boys Season 3 and more news.

The Boys is one of those shows that isn’t for everyone. It’s shocking, violent, and bloody. But at the same time, it’s hilariously fun. It’s not afraid to “go there,” so getting a third season is excellent news. We need more of The Boys and The Seven.

More from Amazon Originals

While the renewal was announced during the panel, the social media account quickly shared a poster. It includes the current Seven, with Stormfront taking over Translucent’s place and A-Train back. Does that mean all seven are making it through to the end?

The Boys Season 2 clip

As well as the renewal, the panel offered a clip of the second season. We’ve already had the first three minutes and Stormfront’s introduction. Now we get to see The Boys in action.

While on a speedboat, they’re being chased by The Deep, who is controlling the sea creatures. One of those is a whale he’s riding. It looks like The Deep has The Boys trapped, but Butcher decides to live up to his name and rams the speedboat through the whale.

It’s diabolical and just a hint of things to come this season. And it turns out that this was extremely expensive and as gruesome as it looks!

What we did find out from this is that it looks like The Deep is back with his team. He has done a lot of learning while on an “assignment” in Ohio. He’s ready to be a team player again. However, how is he going to take what’s happened to the whale?

Here’s the clip:

The Boys Season 2 aftershow coming

As well as the clip and renewal, we learned there would be a new aftershow. Titled Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys, it will be hosted by Aisha Tyler and feature some of the cast and crew for each episode.

This now certainly makes sense why it’s going to be released weekly. The first three episodes will drop at once, giving us a lot to talk about. After that, we’re getting one episode each Friday, but we’ll have the aftershow to delve into and learn more about that particular episode. It’s going to be so much fun!

What to expect during The Boys Season 2

The second season will see the vigilantes on the run. During the teaser trailer, we saw that the men were the ones mentioned. Nobody seems to know about The Female, played by Karen Fukuhara. However, there is another point in the trailer that shows her fighting against Stormfront.

Speaking of Stormfront, played by Aya Cash, she will be the new member of The Seven. She’s a threat to Homelander, especially with her social media following. Stormfront has her own agenda, but will that be to take down The Boys or is she on Starlight’s side.

And yes, Starlight will need to find a place in the team. The trailer showed her in the new costume, the one created by Vought. However, this could all be for show as she tries to make it look like she tried to stop the vigilantes from escaping. She will need to figure out how she can save the world when The Seven is made up of corrupt Supes.
