Hanna Season 2, Episode 7 recap: Can Clara carry out her mission?

Clara has a mission to complete on Hanna Season 2, Episode 7

We’re into the penultimate episode of Hanna Season 2. Lives are literally on the line, but can Clara complete the mission she’s been given?

We pick up in Barcelona, where Sandy befriends her target. She fits in well as a university student in Spain, but she needs to focus on her mission. Part of that is welcoming Clara/Clemency into the group, which isn’t all that difficult to do when they both know the mission.

Meanwhile, Hanna needs to get across the Channel to Spain. Marissa also needs to figure out a way to escape imprisonment.

Hanna knows the truth about Clara’s mom

Now that Utrax knows that Hanna isn’t one of them, she needs to change her look. She gets rid of the blonde hair and cuts it extra short. It’s enough for Hanna to get to Barcelona, where she finds Clara.

Hanna is able to give Clara the details of her mother. Clara’s mother is in Egypt at a dentist’s office. Clara isn’t sure whether to believe her friend but sends an email to her mom anyway.

After that, Hanna goes after Kat to tell her that she and her dad are in danger. They’re in a club in Spain, where Hanna points out that Sandy stole Kat’s phone and is the one targeting the family. Hanna suggests that Kat traps Sandy in a lie, which is enough to convince Kat to get out of dodge.

However, it’s not with Hanna, who has to steal a car to follow Kat. Meanwhile, Sandy has the information about Kat’s dad’s hotel room.

Clara has to carry out her mission

At first, Clara waits for a reply to her email. If her mom responds, it looks like she’s willing to call the whole thing off. However, it gets to crunch time and there’s no response. Disappointed, Clara heads off for her mission.

They meet at the hotel room, where Kat has arrived. Clara and Sandy burst in to get the briefcase, which Hanna has found out has a target list. It’s all connected to Utrax.

Clara bottles it, as Hanna rushes into the room to help save the day. Sandy is the one to kill Kat’s dad and she rushes off without the briefcase. That’s something for another day.

As for Clara, she chooses to stay with Hanna to help get Kat to safety.

What about Marissa?

Marissa is being escorted somewhere, but it’s not clear where that is. It looks like in the middle of nowhere, suggesting that Marissa is going to be killed.

The van she’s in is blown off the road. Marissa is saved by a woman who claims she’s with the people set to take down Utrax. Marissa learns from this woman that Hanna is still against Utrax. Now it’s time to get to Hanna and protect her.
