Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 is among the DVD and Blu-ray releases this week

It’s time for another week packed with some great DVD and Blu-ray releases. June 30 sees the release of TV shows and movies that you’ll need to add to your collection.

Whether you want comedy or supernatural drama, there’s something for all. Three on this list are TV shows, but there are two movies that went under the radar but are more than worth buying.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7

We’ll get the cop comedy out of the way. Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 saw Jake and Amy take the next step in their relationship: starting a family. Meanwhile, Terry got to play the flute, there was a blackout in New York, and one of the detectives got married. All Nine-Nine fans will want to get this shorter-than-normal season on DVD and Blu-ray.

EVIL Season 1

When it comes to supernatural DVD and Blu-ray releases, there’s only one to look out for. EVIL Season 1 is coming out. The story is about a lawyer who teams with a priest to determine whether cases are of a religious nature or not. This lawyer doesn’t believe in God, but some of the things she sees make her into one.

The Etruscan Smile

Brian Cox stars as Rory MacNeil in The Etruscan Smile. A born and bred Scotsman, he’s never wanted to travel too far. However, when he has to go to California for medical treatment, he enters a world of uncertainty. His son is by his side, but they’re estranged and it’s not easy. There may be a silver lining in it all as Rory gets to know his baby grandson and a bond between father and son may form.

The Short History of the Long Road

Next up is The Short History of the Long Road starring Sabrina Carpenter. Nola is a teenager who has always lived on the road in a van with her dad. They make the most of their lives together, but when her dad dies, Nola is forced to journey alone and decide what she wants to gain from her live. Will she leave the nomadic life and find roots or remain on the road alone?

The Sinner Season 3

If you love well-written TV crime dramas, The Sinner Season 3 is the place to turn. Bill Pullman returns as Detective Ambrose, and it’s time to find out a few more of his secrets. Meanwhile, Matt Boomer is the main star in this season, taking us on another twisted journey to figure out the truth.
