The characters certainly won’t be all that relatable, but that’s the fun of it. This is one of those movies that gives you two despicable people and forces them to learn about the world between them.

What to expect in Gulabo Sitabo

The movie focuses on two characters. The first is 78-year-old Mirza, who is a landlord who cares more about his possession than anything else. He’s not afraid to move heaven and earth for this possession, even if it means putting people out on the streets.

Meanwhile, Baankey is a tenant who will happily squat. He’s a sly and shrewd man who will make life as difficult as possible for Mirza.

The two are completely unmatched. They come from different backgrounds and are both selfish people, which promises to cause plenty of problems. However, they both have a lot to learn from each other’s experiences and opinions.

You can check out the trailer for the movie below. You will need to turn the closed captions on for the English translation.
