The Last Narc focuses on the 1985 case involving the kidnapping and murder of DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena. Little has been known about Kiki’s last days, but we do know that he was tortured. Now it’s time to find out exactly what the Mexican cartel did to him. At least, as much as the evidence can uncover.
At the same time, the docuseries looks into the conspiracy. Kiki knew that there were people against him and not just the cartel. People in Washington D.C. were a threat, but he couldn’t prove it. Now it’s time to uncover those mysteries to figure out what was really going on.
Of course, there are plenty of myths and propaganda from the time. Everyone wanted this solved quickly, which meant coverups. Now the myths are being revealed. The truth is coming out.
