You’ve seen Narcos on Netflix. Now it’s time to get the real story. The Last Narc is coming to Amazon Prime Video, and here’s the official trailer.

Narcos and the sequel Narcos: Mexico are great fictional looks at the cartels and fights to bring them down. However, there are true stories that need to be told in a docuseries form. The Last Narc is that chance, and now the official trailer is out.

This global Amazon Original looks into the notorious kidnapping and murder of DEA Agent “Kiki” Camarena. You’ve likely heard of the story. Or at least some of it. However, there are mysteries that have never been uncovered until now.

During the four-part docuseries, new interviews will help to unravel Camarena’s story. This isn’t just about the drug cartel that he was after, but the way he infiltrated it and the reason he was willing to risk absolutely everything to bring it down.

As the trailer tells us, this is a man who was tortured before he was killed. Now, it’s time to reveal the full story; the lengths he went to in order to bring down the cartel, and what happened in his final days.

It’s also a look at the dangers from his own people. Kiki thought those in the government were ready to turn him over to the cartel. He feared that the people on the “good side” were secretly in with the “bad guys.” It wasn’t easy to trust anyone, and it’s no wonder that so much has been shrouded in mystery.
