There is some excellent news for fans of The Office and Parks and Recreation. Greg Daniels is back with a fun new series. This time he’s gone for the dramedy focus with Upload, the latest Original from Amazon.

Starring Robbie Amell, the series focuses on coder Nathan who is gravely injured in a self-driving car accident. He chooses to be uploaded to a digital afterlife, where his Angel, Nora, guides him through his new life.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a dramedy without the drama. Where does that come in? It’s all about the car accident. It turns out that it wasn’t an accident after all. Within this comedic storytelling there’s a murder mystery to solve.

This is certainly a series you want to check out. A lot of detail has gone into creating the universe, and it’s something that is fully fresh and exciting. This isn’t based on a book or a video game. However, you will see lots of glitches in the code and fun uses of technology throughout. Greg Daniels has brought us something completely new and that’s worth celebrating.
