There were plenty of twists and turns throughout Hunters Season 1. The ending of the first season brought us one of the biggest in Argentina.

Hunters Season 1 didn’t fail on delivering some major twists and a thrilling storyline. While we ended up with some major questions for Season 2 (and yes, a second season is necessary), there was that twisted ending that left many of us with jaws on the floor.

Caution: There are major spoilers from the Hunters Season 1 finale in this post.

Let’s be honest; you knew deep down that Meyer Offerman wasn’t exactly who he said he was. There were elements of his story that just didn’t add up and one Nazi recognized him. It’s all in the eyes. However, his big reveal of being The Wolf wasn’t the biggest twist.

The twist came with Joe’s storyline. After leaving Offerman’s home unable to believe the story Jonah was telling him, he was knocked down and put into a car. That car took him all the way to Argentina. Immediately seeing “Argentina” pop up on the screen told me we’d get some hidden Nazi down there. After all, we know that plenty of Nazis fled to the country after World War II for safety.

But did we really expect to find out that Hitler was there? Joe watched in shock as he saw a white-haired Hitler walk out of the house and to the table where he’d been forced to sit with Aryan boys next to him.

The Colonel’s identity reveled

If only Hitler was the biggest reveal. Not only did we find out that The Colonel had survived plummeting into the lake, we also learned her true identity.

“Eva,” Hitler called her. Yes, The Colonel is Eva Braun.

Those who know their history will know that Eva was Hitler’s lover. They hid in a bunker and both killed themselves at the end of World War II. Well, that’s the story we’ve always been told. Hunters has opted for the story that they faked their deaths and fled to Argentina.

Now that was a twist I wasn’t expecting!
