Blow the Man Down trailer and release date: What we know so far

Are you ready for a new drama movie? Amazon Prime Video brings Blow the Man Down in March and here’s a look at the trailer to see what to expect.

If you’re looking for a new movie to check out, March is already shaping up to be a good month. Amazon Prime Video has shared the March release date for Blow the Man Down, as well as the first trailer for the drama movie.

Get ready for Mar. 20, 2020 for this R-rated movie. Starring Morgan Saylor and Sophie Lowe as sisters Mary Beth and Priscilla, the movie focuses on their actions in a salt fishing village and the trouble those actions cause in the future. The two have a run-in with a dangerous man and end up killing him. They need to conceal their crime, which only leads to the town matriarchs’ darkest secrets. And you know the matriarchs want to keep those secrets buried deep underwater.

Margo Martindale, June Louise Squibb, and Annette O-Toole take on the role of the three matriarchs of the town. Watch out for them every step of the way!

Amazon has released the first trailer for the movie, which certainly offers the thrilling tale. However, it also hints at a sense of chilling and dark comedy underneath. The indie movie was released at the Toronto Film Festival, where it gained a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Now you get to be the judge of it yourself when it comes to Prime next month.

Admittedly, there have been some excellent additions to Prime thanks to Sundance and TIFF. Just recently, we’ve seen the likes of The ReportBrittany Runs a Marathon, and Troop Zero just last month. Honey Boy is available on Feb. 7 to stream to your heart’s content and now Blow the Man Down. What’s next?
