Are you ready for an alien love story? Loved the Roswell, New Mexico reboot? It’s time to relive the first season on DVD in January 2020.

If you missed the first season of Roswell, New Mexico or you want to relive it over and over again, you’ll be happy to hear that the DVD release date is set. It comes ahead of the second season premiering and after news that there’s definitely going to be a third season.

Sure, you can watch on Netflix right now. However, as Disney+ recently reminded fans with the removal of Home Alone, shows don’t remain on streaming services forever. Why not grab the DVD or purchase the digital copies so you can comfortably watch whenever you want.

While Roswell, New Mexico sounds like a reboot of the original series, it’s actually a new adaptation of the books. There are characters from the 1990s series changed or missing due to licensing agreements and to add the focus of illegal immigration.

As it tells the story of the literal aliens on planet Earth, there’s also the story of illegal immigration. Liz is the daughter of an undocumented immigrant father, who owns his own business but is under the threat of deportation every day. When she reluctantly returns home, she runs into her teenage crush and learns about his and his siblings’ abilities.
