It’s Thanksgiving weekend next week, and you’re likely looking for movies to watch on Amazon Prime Video. The Report is going to be one of those movies. It’s released officially on Nov. 29, but there is a chance we may get it earlier. Just what time will The Report be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video?
You can currently watch it in some theaters. It got a limited release ahead of the Prime Video release, which makes the movie eligible for the awards nominations. However, you probably don’t want to head out the theaters to watch it when you know you can watch it in the comfort of your own home.

While the official Prime release date is Nov. 29, there is a chance you’ll get it on Thanksgiving. Most Amazon Originals are released at midnight GMT. That means they’re out a few hours earlier Stateside. We’re looking at potentially 7 p.m. ET or 4 p.m. PT on Nov. 28.
Not interested in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade? Not one to watch Thanksgiving football? There’s no need to flick through the channels and hope something is on. Amazon will likely have your back.
If The Report isn’t available right away, it could be available any time up until midnight. It will definitely be available to stream at midnight in your local area on Nov. 29. You’ll at least have something to check out over Thanksgiving weekend.
Reviews are on the positive side for this political thriller starring Adam Driver, Annette Bening, Ted Levine, Michael C. Hall, and Jon Hamm. It’s Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with an 82% score from critics and 80% score from audiences.
The release is later than initially expected. Amazon previously set the release in theaters for September and a Prime release for October. However, a later decision pushed both releases back to November.
