Based on New York Times’ column, all eight stories are based on truth. They are going to make you laugh, cry, and question what love really means.

This is a show that will look into all different types of love. Whether it’s two gay men going through an open adoption for a child or a married couple on the verge of divorce looking for a way back to each other, Modern Love is ready to throw you in the deep end.
I think this is one of those shows that won’t be for everyone. Well, I know that. No show is for everyone! But this is going to be for the rom-com fans out there. If you liked Four Weddings and a Funeral (the Hulu reboot) or Forever, I think this is a show you’ll grow attached to.
Will it get a second season? That one I can’t say for sure. Anthology series aren’t easy, and I get the feeling that this may have gone under the radar compared to Amazon’s recent hits like The Boys, Good Omens, and Carnival Row.
