American Horror Story: Apocalypse, Transparent: Musicale Finale, and more come to Amazon Prime this week. What will you be watching?
What are you in the mood to watch on Amazon Prime this week? We’re in the last few days of September, now would be the perfect time to watch American Horror Story to get you in the spooky mood.
Don’t worry if that’s not your speed. Amazon has a few other new offerings you can check out. Plus, there’s always the decision to catch up on previous original series releases such as Carnival Row.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse

While Season 9 of American Horror Story has already begun, that doesn’t mean you can’t spend the rest of your week catching up on last season. Luckily for fans, AHS is an anthology season.
You don’t need to have seen Season 8 to watch Season 9, but no one says you can’t watch them simultaneously! Season 8 was a unique season, even for AHS, as it brought together characters from Murder House and Coven in a deadly new setting.
Transparent: Musicale Finale

Transparent has had its fair share of ups and downs in the television community. The series was groundbreaking when it initially premiered for its focus on transgender issues. Now the series is coming to its final bow.
The finale is an over-the-top, singing, dancing, showstopper. If you’ve been watching the show since the beginning, you don’t want to miss out on the grand finale.
Rango (2011)

- Available: Sept. 27
This animated feature follows a chameleon amid an identity crisis. Rango winds up in a Western-themed town named Dirt. It’s a town in need of a new sheriff, could Rango be the reptile for the job?
Creepshow
- Available: Shudder, Sept. 26
Shudder’s much-awaited adaptation of Creepshow finally premieres on Thursday! Each episode will consist of two segments adapting a different horror story. A new episode will air every Thursday through Halloween.
The first story will adapt “Gray Matter” by Stephen King. The second will adapt a story written by Josh Malerman, who also wrote the novel Bird Box. You can read our complete review of the first hour right here.
Bears (2014)
- Available: Starz, Sept. 26
If you’re a fan of Disneynature, then you don’t want to miss out on this documentary feature narrated by John C. Reilly. The film follows a family of bears living in an Alaskan mountain range.
