Who are the greatest Amazon Originals characters of 2019 so far? TV Time users are at it again sharing their opinions. Here are the top 20 characters.
The TV Time users have shared their thoughts again, this time ranking the best Amazon Originals characters from 2019. Multiple shows were on offer for ranking the characters, and it didn’t have to be just about the main characters.
I don’t think the top four will be that surprising. While one technically hasn’t graced our screens this year, she will return in December, so she definitely counts. Yes, we’re talking about Midge Maisel from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It’s possibly not surprising that Midge is one of the highest-ranking characters, considering her determination to follow her dreams despite everyone being against her.

Another unsurprising female to be high on the list was Annie January/Starlight from The Boys. Her storyline in the first season was a development from the original storyline and never in the original pilot script. However, it was an important story to tell and gave power to those who have been through sexual harassment in this #MeToo era.
Of course, Good Omens gets a mention (twice, just as the characters deserve), Hanna, Carnival Row, and Jack Ryan are all among the list of best Amazon Originals characters. The Boys takes the lead for the most mentions, with four characters on the list.
Out of all the shows, The Man in the High Castle is there the second-most with three characters making it to the list—and you’ll notice one isn’t exactly the “good guy,” although they’re all the heroes of their own stories. Again, while it (and also The Expanse) don’t have new episodes on Prime until later this year, they still count since they are coming back in 2019.
