This is a police drama with a slight twist. The two leads don’t know each other and have come from vastly different backgrounds. However, the most interesting one is the Korean med student (Taemin), who had been part of a botched experiment in the United States and now has no memory. He needs to work with his new team member (Shota Matsuda) to figure out the case they’re thrown into while also working out his own secrets.

There are plenty of skeletons in the closets of both of these men, elements of the past neither will want bringing up. And that’s what makes you tune in and keep watching. You’ll find yourself trying to piece the jigsaw puzzle together before all the answers are given to you.

Amazon Prime Video doesn’t have much that comes from Japan but that is starting to change. Final Life deserves a mention for that. The international content is building and you need to give it all a chance.
