Documental Season 3 is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. It’s joined by two other new Prime Originals, Final Life and Tokyo Alice, and here’s all you need to know about the three releases.

They’re the last three arrivals and all three are Japanese Originals. You’ll certainly want to give them a chance, whether you love to laugh or you’re looking for drama and fiction.

Documental Season 3 sees Hitoshi Matsumoto return with the closed-door laughter survival show. The series sees 10 comedians enter a room. The one who laughs last is the one who wants away with a 10-million-yen prize. It’s all to play for. The problem is, how do you avoid laughing with 10 excellent comedians?

For those who prefer something more serious and love original scripted content, Final Life Season 1 is something to check out. This Japanese Prime Original was released at the end of 2018 in Asia and is finally coming to Amazon Prime Video in the United States. Shota Matusda and Taemin co-star as two men from very different backgrounds, but they need to work together in a “Special Unit” within the local police force.

As for Tokyo Alice, this is perfect for the romance fans. Originally released in Japan in 2017, the series follows four women, and former classmates, who navigate the world of work, love, and friendship. Fuu is fashion-mad, Mizuho is a manga artist, Sayuri is a doctor, and Rio is a preppy gallery assistant. They all live together, as they find their own meaning of happiness each.
