Are you a fan of American Gods (you can watch it with your Prime membership if you subscribe to the Starz channel, by the way)? What about Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series? If the answer to either or both of those questions is yes, then you won’t want to miss out on the Amazon Prime adaptation of Good Omens.
The series is based on the book of the same name, a collaboration between Pratchett and American Gods author, Neil Gaiman. Good Omens has ranked high on many most anticipated lists for 2019 and now the series has finally arrived!

If you haven’t heard of Good Omens, rest assured you don’t need to have read the book beforehand (but you should check it out when you can). The series is faithful to its source material as it takes a comedic and zany look at the birth of the Antichrist and an impending battle between Heaven and Hell.
If that premise doesn’t entice you, the cast might. David Tennant stars as a demon named Crowley and Michael Sheen plays opposite him as the angel, Aziraphale. Jon Hamm, Frances McDormand, Nick Offerman, and Benedict Cumberbatch also turn up in random and entertaining roles throughout the season.
You can watch the complete first season of Good Omens right now with your Prime membership and the best part is, it’s a super quick binge! The season only consists of six hour-long episodes, which is good because you can easily devour it in one sitting — but bad because you’ll definitely want more by the end!
