Jack Ryan Season 1 coming to DVD and Blu-ray in June
The first season of Jack Ryan will be available on DVD and Blu-ray, but you’ll have to wait a little longer before it arrives. It will be released this June.
If you do your shopping on Amazon, but don’t watch things on Amazon Prime Video, you’ll be able to pick up a copy of Jack Ryan Season 1. If you are a Prime subscriber and just like physical copies of TV shows instead, pick up a copy of the season this June.
The show will be available on both DVD and Blu-ray, so you’ll have multiple options for watching it. As of right now, the Blu-ray is priced at $28.85 and the DVD is listed at $21.74. If you pre-order the season now, you’ll get it at whatever the lowest price is between now and the release date.

If you aren’t familiar with the show, it’s based off of the Tom Clancy novels featuring Jack Ryan. The Hunt For Red October received a reprint that gave it a TV show tie-in cover. If you’re interested in the source material, that’s a good place to start since it is the first book in the series.
As for the show itself, you’ll find plenty of action and some emotional beats that play over well. The show has a second season in the works and was even renewed for a third one already. With the DVD and Blu-ray release, you’ll be able to catch up on the show.
It’s not often that Amazon Prime Originals are released on DVD and Blu-ray, unlike Netflix Originals, as a way to keep shows exclusive to Prime Video. Clearly, Jack Ryan was extremely popular and Amazon seems to want to offer another way for potential fans to watch. Don’t expect to get a Digital copy without subscribing to Prime, though.

Details on the Blu-ray and DVD releases are pretty sparse, but I imagine that there will be some extra features to go along with the show that weren’t released on Prime Video.
