When will Hanna Season 2 be on Amazon Prime Video?
While not officially renewed yet, it’s worth looking at a potential release date for a second season. When will Hanna Season 2 be on Amazon Prime Video?
We’re still waiting for a renewal confirmation for Hanna Season 2. The ending was certainly left open for a potential second season, but Amazon Prime is still to renew. However, that doesn’t stop us looking at a potential date for Hanna Season 2 to come to Amazon Prime Video.
The exact date will depend on when/if the show is renewed and the length of time it takes to film. Most Prime Originals return within 12 to 14 months of the previous seasons (The Man in the High Castle is a huge exception). With that in mind, we could see the young girl genetically modified to be an assassin return sometime between March and May 2020.
Caution: There are spoilers from this point for the ending of Hanna Season 1.

Considering the way the series ending, Joel Kinnaman will not likely be part of the second season. However, Esme Creed-Miles and Mireille Enos do have the opportunity to return. Some of the other actors from the first season could also return, including Rhianne Barreto, Justin Salinger, Benno Fürmann, Yasmin Monet Prince, Áine Rose Daly, and Jasmine Breinburg.

The latter three actresses were the girls from the facility that Hanna and Erik had broken into for answers. Yasmin Monet Prince played 249, who left with Hanna after helping her escape. Áine Rose Daly played 242, who looked like she was starting to question the regime, while Jasmine Breinburg was 217, who was clearly a drone of the cause.
This is where a second season could pick up. We could see more girls within the operation question everything around them. There’s a chance we’ll learn more about the tests they undergo, while 249 explains to Hanna (and us) everything that had happened to her up to this point.
Of course, there’s the greater threat of what these girls were raised for. What is the overall plan?
