What time is Cold War on Amazon Prime Video?
The Amazon Studios movie, Cold War, is officially coming to Prime Video this week. What time will it be on the service so you can start streaming immediately?
Cold War is the latest Amazon Studios movie to come to Prime. After a theatrical release and Oscar nomination, it’s finally going to be available for all as part of your Prime membership. Just what time will Cold War be on Amazon Prime Video?
Most movies and shows are released at midnight GMT. This usually means you can start watching a little earlier. I’d check Prime Video from 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Mar. 21 to see if the movie has dropped early. If it’s not there then, it can be added at any point up until midnight, which it will definitely be on by.

Cold War is a movie set during the titular time. Joanna Kulig and Tomasz Kot are Zula and Wiktor, two people from different backgrounds who happen to fall in love. They have completely different ideals and expectations, destined for different things. However, their love seems to keep them together despite everything trying to tear them apart.
Running at just 89 minutes, it can seem extremely short. However, critics are in favor of the run-time because that time isn’t wasted. The movie remains straight to the point, using black-and-white filming to make you feel like you’re in the time period. There must be a reason 92% of critics and 82% of audiences on Rotten Tomatoes love it.
The only downside to Cold War is that you’re going to need subtitles on. It’s a foreign language film (this was one of its nominated categories at the Oscars but it lost out to Netflix’s Roma) but it’s certainly worth the time.
