Good Omens to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in May 2019
The highly anticipated Prime Original Good Omens has officially announced its release date. Good Omens will arrive on Amazon Prime Video in May 2019.
During the TCAs, Amazon revealed the release date for the highly anticipated sci-fi comedy-drama, Good Omens. Set to arrive at the end of May this year, all six episodes of the Prime Original will arrive on the Amazon Prime Video platform so prepare yourself for an ultimate binge watch party.
The series, which is based on the Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman book, “Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch,” will feature an all-star cast including the likes of David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Jon Hamm, Frances McDormand, Nick Offerman, Jack Whitehall, Miranda Richardson, Adria Arjona, Michael McKean, Anna Maxwell Martin, Mireille Enos. It was heavily promoted during NYCC 2018 but fans only gained a trailer. It’s taken until now to get an official premiere date.

Good Omens will be available on May 31. This matches the tease of a spring release date that we previously reported.

A mixture of humor, horror, fantasy, and drama, Good Omens is set in modern day times when the impending apocalypse of humanity is set to arrive. Armies are formed on both sides of good and evil as the end draws neither.
However, an angel called Aziraphale and a demon called Crowley, decide they are not having any part of it and form an unlikely friendship with one another to stop the Apocalypse, and the end of the world. Oh, and the Antichrist appears to have been misplaced as well.
