When are Wishenpoof Season 2B and Pete the Cat Season 1 on Prime Video?
There are two Prime Originals coming to Prime Video in September for children. Wishenpoof will get the second half of Season 2 and Pete the Cat begins. What dates do parents need to remember?
Amazon Prime Video has a range of options for children, making parents’ lives easier when you need that 30 minutes (or sometimes longer; no judgment here!) of peace. There are two Prime Originals coming in September. Wishenpoof Season 2B and Pete the Cat Season 1A drop on the same day!
What dates do parents need to put in their diaries? Just how much are you getting in the form of new original content for your children? Here are all the details.
Wishenpoof Season 2B: Sept. 7

The first to get in your diary is the second half of Wishenpoof Season 2B. It’s been just short of a year since the first half of the season dropped. You’ll likely get up to the Christmas episode and then wish that there was more because your children want to watch Bianca use her wishes to save everyone over and over again.
There’s a total of 13 new episodes dropping on Sept. 7, 2018. There really isn’t that much longer to wait. The first episode is titled “Save the Playground.”
For the parents who have avoided Wishenpoof so far (and I’m not sure how, unless you don’t have Amazon Prime Video), the series is about Bianca, who has magical powers to solve problems through wishes. She goes on adventures with her friends and it’s a wonderful series to teach preschoolers about thinking of others, sharing, empathy, and so much more.
Pete the Cat Season 1: Sept. 7
Both children’s shows will drop at the same time. This is great for those who want to find something different for their children once they’ve caught up with Bianca and co.
Pete the Cat is going to be a favorite for parents with older children, as it’s based on the children’s books of the same name. In the books, a cat called Pete (hence the title) goes on various adventures. Children will now be taken through them in animation.
Pete the Cat: The Groovy New Year is already on Amazon Prime Video. This is a great chance to find out more about the cat if you’ve escaped the books so far.
There are only two episodes listed for the Sept. 7 release on IMDb. It’s unclear so far if there will be any more right away.
