IF, Twisters, and more coming to DVD and Digital this week (Aug. 13)

This week is a big one. There may actually be too much to choose from, so you’ll certainly want to know the top picks. We have a selection from the DVD and Digital lists to make sure you’re covered. Whether you want something for just you or the whole family, there are some great releases.

IF, Twisters, and more

What about something for the whole family? We’ll start the breakdown with that because it’s simple. It’s all about IF. This is the movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Cailey Fleming. Fleming plays a young girl who can see imaginary friends, even the ones who have been discarded. She’s not alone, either, but it is up to her to help these discarded and forgotten imaginary friends. Can she reunite them with their humans?

If you’re more in the mood for a dystopian thriller and love the Mad Max movies, you’ll be happy to hear that Furiosa is heading to DVD and Blu-ray. This one sees a young girl taken by a clan, and now she needs to figure out how to escape and get back home in the middle of a dystopian wasteland.

Crime drama fans will be excited to find out that NCIS Season 21 is coming to DVD this week. This season starts off with an episode to save Torres, who we last saw potentially put his career and freedom on hold for revenge. When the man he wanted to kill turns up dead, he needs to prove that it wasn’t him.

Then there’s something for the thriller fans. This one is coming to Digital, and it’s all about Twisters. The remake of the popular Helen Hunt movie sees a group of storm chasers put themselves in the middle of deadly tornadoes yet again, and of course, it’s all about getting the drama on social media this time.
