Twisters could eventually come to Prime Video but not right away
Are you ready for a reboot of the ‘90s classic Twister? Now you can. Twisters is currently out in theaters.
The movie follows a different group of storm chasers, with one of them out of the game ever since a disaster happened. However, Kate gets pulled back into the chase by her friend, Javi. The two come across a social media influencer who loves to share his twister-chasing videos.
When there’s a huge storm that hits, all lives are at risk. The storm chasers will need to work together if they want to survive.
Twisters will head to Peacock and then maybe Prime Video
Prime Video will not be the first streaming home for Twisters. There is some good news, though. It could head to Prime Video within the next 12 months.
This is a Universal Pictures movie, which means that it is heading to Peacock first. Many Universal Pictures movies have then gone to Prime Video just a few months later. It’s not clear if that deal has come to an end yet, so we’ll keep an eye on whether this will happen or not.
Twisters will be available to buy or rent on Amazon Video
There is another way to watch movies on Amazon. It’s possible to buy or rent them on Amazon Instant Video. In some great news, we will get to see Twisters get a digital release.
This is usually within a couple of months. You’ll be able to buy the movie on Digital and keep it for as long as you have your free Amazon account. There is no need to sign up to Prime Video. You pay once and that’s it. If you rent it, you only get it for 48 hours to start the movie. Once you start it, you need to finish it within 24 hours.
