There’s nothing new on Amazon Prime Video, but there’s still plenty to watch this weekend

There is nothing new joining Amazon Prime Video between Dec. 12 and 13. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to watch at all.

When you look at what arrived during the week and you check out the Amazon Channels offerings, you’ll find plenty of content to binge-watch.

It’s all about survival

More from Amazon

Amazon Prime Video had four Amazon Originals drop on Friday, Dec. 11. One of those is a series that focuses on survival. At the same time, it’s a coming-of-age drama, with eight teenage girls figuring out who they are and what they want in life. Yes, The Wilds is definitely something to check out this weekend.

If you’re not into survival dramas or you want a movie, you’ll want to turn your attention to two of the releases. I’m Your Woman is set in the 70s and follows Rachel Brosnahan’s Jean. After finding out her career criminal husband has betrayed something dangerous, she and her baby’s lives are in danger. She has to go on the run, but it all leads to her and another woman seeking out their missing husbands.

Another movie is from the Small Axe series. Alex Wheatle is the movie this week, starring Sheyi Cole, Robbie Gee, Johann Myers, and Jonathan Jules. The movie focuses on Black British novelist Alex Wheatle who was imprisoned after the 1981 Brixton uprising.

For those with children, you’ll want to put on the next selection of episodes from Clifford the Big Red Dog. It really needs no introduction, does it?

What about Amazon Prime Video Channels?

There are a few notable new releases on Amazon Channels this weekend and from throughout the week. STARZ has a new episode of Power Book II: Ghost on Sunday, Dec. 13. The same day sees the release of Shameless Season 11, Episode 2 on SHOWTIME.

All the Friday the 13th movies dropped on STARZ today, so you’ve got them to check out throughout the weekend.

There’s no need to worry about nothing to watch this weekend.
