When can we watch Truth Seekers Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video?

Amazon is still to make a decision about the future of Truth Seekers. For the purpose of this, we’re going to assume Truth Seekers Season 2 is happening. We’ll update with confirmation when Amazon agrees with us that it’s a must.

When will Truth Seekers Season 2 come to Amazon Prime Video? Part of it will depend on when the confirmation comes through, but it’s also going to depend on the pandemic and the ability to film.

It takes 14-18 months for the majority of Amazon Original shows to bring new seasons off the back of previous ones. This counts the two months or so that it can take to get a renewal and the time for writing, pre-production, production, and post-production. The whole season has to be ready in time for the release because, in the majority of cases, a full season is dropped at once.

So, with that in mind, we’re looking at December 2021 at the very earliest for the second season of Truth Seekers. Sure, some shows manage 12 months and some are 22 to 23 months, but in the majority of cases, 14 months is the earliest. If it was to take the 18 months, we’d be looking at April 2022.

When will Amazon confirm Truth Seekers Season 2?

Let’s remember that the season hasn’t been confirmed yet. This isn’t surprising as Truth Seekers only dropped its first season on Oct. 30. That was only a week ago, although it often feels like so much longer right now.

There are times that Amazon will pick up seasons a week or two within the release date, such as Upload and Hanna. There are other times the renewals happen before seasons drop like The Boys and Carnival Row. However, in the majority of cases, we have to wait about two months before Amazon has the figures to decide on the future of the shows.

We’ll hopefully find out before the year is out that Truth Seekers Season 2 is definitely happening.
