The Crown Season 3 and 5 DVD releases happening this week

The Crown Season 3 is one of the five DVD releases happening on Nov. 3

It’s a new week, which means some new DVD releases. There aren’t as many as back in October, but November still has some exciting releases coming up.

There’s a good mixture of TV shows and movies. The DVD releases cover all genres, whether you want a psychological thriller, period drama, or action. Now you just need to decide which one you’re getting first.

Let’s take a look at the five DVD and Blu-ray releases happening on Nov. 3.

The Crown, Antebellum, and more

The Crown Season 3 is one of the biggest releases. It’s the first season with the new cast taking over, telling the stories from the 1960s. They include the devastating disaster at Aberfan, the moon landing, and more.

There is plenty happening, especially when it comes to Prince Charles growing up and learning more about the type of Prince of Wales and future king he wants to be. Season 4 will see him make sacrifices for the crown, sacrifices that will have consequences coming up.

Antebellum is another big release for the week. Janelle Monáe stars as Veronica, a writer who has the ability to really scare her readers. What happens when she’s thrown into a nightmare of her own? Only her skills as a writer will get her out of this.

There are some complaints about the ending. That is everything to do with the timing of the movie. However, it’s definitely worth the watch for everything but the twist. Monáe is outstanding.

Another of the big DVD releases we need to highlight is Blackbird. Susan Sarandon plays a terminally ill woman who wants to end life on her terms. That includes getting her family together one last time. Is everyone willing to go through with her wishes? There are a lot of tears and struggles throughout the movie, so grab the tissues.
