Are you in the mood for a horror-comedy this weekend? There’s some excellent news for all Prime subscribers. You can now watch all eight episodes of Truth Seekers on Amazon Prime Video.

The horror-comedy comes from the minds that brought us Shaun of the Dead and the rest of the Cornetto trilogy. We’re still hoping for a Cornetto or two to pop up in the TV series!

All eight episodes are available to stream. They’re roughly hour-long episodes, but you have all weekend to watch. You’ve got no plans for Halloween 2020, right?

What to expect on Truth Seekers?

The series follows a broadband installer, Gus (Nick Frost), who has a secret passion. On the side, he’s a paranormal investigator. When he’s teamed up with newbie Elton (Samson Kayo) by his boss Dave (Simon Pegg), the poor newbie is pulled into Gus’s life.

You see, Gus doesn’t just like to hunt ghosts for fun. It’s all connected to the death of his wife, and this is why being a paranormal investigator was so important when they could have been anything and still found a load of ghosts.

Gus doesn’t fully believe in ghosts and the occult. He has a popular YouTube channel that debunks the myths. What happens when he realizes that ghosts may, in fact, be real?

Each of the episodes looks like its own case, but slowly everything comes together. There’s a deep conspiracy, and it’s up to Gus and Elton to figure out what that conspiracy is. My big question is whether Gus will get the closure he needs after the death of his wife.
