We’ve had an episode focused on Ruby and one now focused on Hippolyta. Now it’s time for Lovecraft Country to focus on another supporting female. It’s all about Dee.

At the same time, a lot of storylines seem to be converging. Dee is being questioned about magic, and we see Ruby drink another potion and we know that Christina uses a lot of magic. Then there’s Tic and Leti’s situation that likely involves a baby, which is why Leti is starting to see the same things as Tic.

But let’s focus on Dee. We’ve had little time with her since the night with the spirit board. That was the night she jokingly tried to contact her dad, but something far more sinister came through. It was only a matter of time before we’d eventually get back to that.

A focus on Dee’s friend Emmet

The title “Jig-a-Bobo” suggests that we’re not just focusing on Dee. Emmet Till had the nickname Bobo as a child. So, the title suggests that we’ll get a little time focusing on him.

Emmet was with Dee at the time of the spirit board. What involvement does he have when it comes to the situation Dee finds herself in.

Touching more on Leti moving into a white neighborhood

During the promo for Lovecraft Country Episode 8, Leti is praying in a church. This isn’t the only focus we’ll get of her in the episode. She’s the story in the local newspaper thanks to the move to the white neighborhood.
