More than 50 new titles are coming to Amazon Prime Video today

Amazon Prime Video has added 53 new titles on Oct. 1

It’s the first of the month, which means the big drop is happening on the majority of streaming services. This has become the norm, and Amazon Prime Video is no exception.

There are 53 new TV shows and movies joining Prime today. There’s a good mixture of both, although the TV shows are only going to be around for a month. Various Amazon Channels continue to make the first seasons of their shows available to watch for free with other seasons available through the respective streaming services.

Knowing that more than half of all releases in October are happening today can be overwhelming. So, you need help narrowing down the list. Two of the TV show releases have made it to our 5 best TV shows to check out on Prime in October.

You’ll certainly want to check out Liar Season 1, available thanks to Sundance Now. It tells the story of a woman who is date-raped. Of course, the man accused is adamant he didn’t do it, but what’s the true story?

The other top option is The Great British Baking Show for all those who love reality TV. If you enjoyed Nailed It on Netflix, you’ll want to check out this one where the task is to get everything perfect.

As for movies, there’s a long list of excellent arrivals. The Knight’s Tale, The Da Vinci Code, and The Pianist come to mind. You can also check out The Mask of Zorro and 30 Days of Night depending on the type of movie you prefer to watch.
